Supporting you.

The primary concern in my orientation is to orient according to the ways that support, whether therapeutic, supervisory, or teaching & advisory, offers you a foothold for your next preferred outcomes, in the direction that best serves your self-understanding, of where you want to be. Evidence-based frameworks provide an orienting map but not a limiting constraint in any of these endeavours, combining their wisdom with a sense of what best helps in your specific context, with the specific needs that are present for you.

My orienting theoretical frameworks are best described as realist and relational – and this applies whether we are working together in individual, couples, or family therapy, through to teaching and research support, as well as research and evaluation methodology and implementation. Of core concern is capacity for all of us to connect with others, holding respect, dignity, and compassionate action as core concerns.

I look forward to meeting with you.
